Amazon launched "Kindle Unlimited" On 19 July. (Sorry for delaying to announce here!)
With $9.99 a month, you can read 600,000 kindle books and own them indefinitely.
It is available on kindle free apps too, and not need Amazon prime membership.
(It is currently available only to US customers,
but Amazon says they plan to expand it to other countries.)
